Mature Adult Services

Anxiety, depression, grief and loneliness often manifest as psychiatric disorders in mature adults. Substance use in addition to a psychiatric disorder can lead to a quick deterioration of functioning, resulting in isolation and depression.

Suncoast Behavioral Health Center has developed a program designed to meet the needs of mature adults struggling with mental health or dual diagnosis disorders.

Our program offers an intimate and age-specific setting that includes individualized treatment goals based on needs, environmental factors and life circumstances.

Our goal is to promote cognitive, social, physical and emotional development to provide individuals with the knowledge and skills to help our patients to return to daily life as soon as possible.

Components of Treatment:

  • Psychiatric Evaluation
  • Medication Management
